Welcome to Sewn Again!

Welcome to my world of used again fabric!

Fabric reaches the end of its life for many reasons. It becomes unfashionable, damaged or simply thrown away.

Fabric is not recycled through household bin collections and ends up in landfill. It is shocking that so much fabric made from natural materials is just dumped - we have to change this.

I am determined to save fabric from landfill by remaking the fabric into beautiful and unique pieces.

The majority of the fabric I use has been used before in curtains, bedding and clothes. I wash it and sew it again - minimising further industrial processes and therefore the effect on the environment.

My fabric is usually sourced from charity shops, this gives charities revenue and helps to keep their stock moving.

Some fabric I use are scraps that are too small to use in main line production of new items and would be binned.

I love denim, velvet, colour and patterns! In fact, I love most used fabrics!

My mission is to save the planet one bag at a time!
